Responsibilities:
Officer – Supply Chain is responsible for managing coal dispatch and weighbridge operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, accurate, and uninterrupted coal supply to Independent Power Producers (IPPs) in accordance with daily and monthly dispatch targets. The role includes operation and monitoring of Mettler Toledo weighbridge systems, ensuring data integrity, accurate recording of gross, tare, and net weights, and compliance with approved SOPs. The Officer consolidates and verifies shift-wise and daily coal supply reports, dispatch documentation, and truck movement records, while ensuring adherence to HSE requirements, traffic management protocols, and audit and regulatory standards.

- Ensure safe and efficient operation of weighbridge and associated equipment, maintaining the safety of personnel, vehicles, and assets within the assigned area.
- Manage and supervise weighbridge operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant weighing of inbound and outbound coal consignments.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot weighbridge systems and related instruments and controls, ensuring accuracy, system integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with logistics contractors to manage coal transportation fleets, optimize vehicle utilization, and align dispatch schedules with IPP requirements.
- Ensure uninterrupted coal supply to IPPs by synchronizing dispatch operations with daily and monthly supply targets and power plant demand.
- Maintain, verify, and control all supply chain documentation, including weighment records, invoices, delivery notes, contracts, and logbooks.
- Consolidate and generate shift-wise, daily, and periodic coal dispatch and inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Queensland & Du-pond HSE policies and standards, emergency response plans, LOTOTO procedures, Permit to work systems, and applicable labor and environmental regulations (including SEQS).
- Monitor contractor and operational compliance, identify deviations or abnormalities, and promptly report operational issues to AM/DM for corrective action.
- Ensure availability, readiness, and healthy condition of safety-critical devices, fire prevention and firefighting equipment, and area safety systems.
- Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain and weighbridge operations.
- Maintain effective coordination and communication with supervisors, IPPs, field operators, and support departments during normal operations, startups, shutdowns, and emergencies.
