Deputy Manager Utilities Operations

Lead and supervise shift operations of RO Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant, bulk water pumping facilities, mine dewatering network, and fire & potable water systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted utility supply.

Ensure full compliance with HSE, SEQS, EMS, SHMS, and PTW systems; act as ERT Squad Lead and manage plant emergencies, incident investigations, and safety audits during shifts.

Operate and monitor power generation and distribution systems, including load management, diesel power generators, and associated utilities.

Handle diesel storage, decanting, gantry operations, and oversee fuel usage, invoicing, and billing activities in coordination with finance and commercial teams.

Monitor and control operational parameters, water treatment quality, utility distribution, wastewater treatment, and recycled water supply to meet site and power plant requirements.

Coordinate with operators, boardmen, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, startup/shutdown activities, manpower availability, training compliance, with working knowledge of SAP or other CMMS/maintenance management systems.

Remote, site-based role on a rotational schedule (15 days on / 13 days off), accountable for operational continuity, efficiency optimization, and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of utilities experience in mining operations or fertilizer, refinery, oil & gas, or large process plants.

Proven exposure to power generation & distribution, water/wastewater treatment, and diesel fuel handling systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
