Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and health standards during shift operations.
- Conduct routine inspections, correct unsafe conditions, and lead safety incident investigations.
- Enforce PPE usage, maintain safety equipment readiness, and ensure prompt injury response.
- Lead environmental compliance efforts, including SEQS adherence and elimination of emissions/odor issues.
- Implement EMS and applicable ISO Standards; train personnel on environmental requirements.
- Oversee OHIH implementation, MSDS compliance, and manage health‑related risk controls.
- Execute Ammonia plant operations, startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling as per approved procedures.
- Maintain stable operations by ensuring parameters remain within design limits and preventing operational upsets.
- Troubleshoot plant issues and ensure smooth, pollution‑free, and timely operational transitions.
- Manage manpower effectively to maintain shift readiness and operational continuity.
- Ensure development and updating of operational procedures and job descriptions for NMPT staff.
- Lead training, coaching, and performance oversight for shift personnel to maintain skill and motivation.
- Coordinate with maintenance, HSE, engineering, and other shift teams for safe and efficient operations.
- Act as stand‑in for Shift Coordinator when required.
- Make critical operational decisions during contingencies and seek approvals where necessary
Education : B.Sc (Chemical Engineering)
Experience : 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
