Job Purpose
The purpose of process engineering manager position is to:
- Perform jobs related to project conceptualization, feasibility studies & business development
- Evaluate and provide feedback on subsidiaries proposed technological initiatives
- Assist in achieving engineering excellence as well as technical skills development
- Lead initiatives for digital transformation , including integration of AI, machine learning, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 1/4
Technical (60%)
- Lead pre-feasibility / feasibility studies with engineering companies and prepare proposal for management
- Evaluation of subsidiaries proposed CAPEX & IP Projects (as per mandate)
- Discuss job list with the supervisor, seeks advise and get resolution on technical issues
- Review technical tasks assigned to team members
- Monitors compliance of the subsidiaries monitoring matrices
- Implement AI-driven tools for process simulation, predictive maintenance, and optimization.
- Evaluate digital technologies (e.g., IoT, digital twins) for feasibility and integration into existing systems.
- Collaborate with IT/data science teams to develop and deploy smart engineering solutions.

Coordination with Subsidiaries (20%)
- Works effectively with subsidiaries to evaluate and provide feedback on their technological upgrades
- Visit plants for development and compliance of monitoring matrices
- Provide technical services to subsidiaries as and when required
- Implement AI-driven tools for process simulation, predictive maintenance, and optimization.
- Evaluate digital technologies (e.g., IoT, digital twins) for feasibility and integration into existing systems.
- Collaborate with IT/data science teams to develop and deploy smart engineering solutions.

People Management (20%)
- Delegates effectively to team members
- Manages team’s objective with the organization, support them to deliver and improve in their role
- Identifies training and development requirements of team members
- Coordinate training and development of ECTD Process Engineering ‘Graduate Trainee Engineers’
- Promote digital literacy and upskilling in AI and data analytics among team members.
- Mentor engineers on using digital platforms and tools for engineering analysis and reporting.

Professional Experience
- Minimum 08 years’ experience; out of which at least 05 years must be in Process Engineering discipline
- Graduation in Chemical Engineering, preferably having PEC registration
- Additional Certification or training in AI, data analytics, or digital transformation
