- Resource allocation on various projects and their movement within the section
- Prioritization of Maintenance Strategies
- Development of new strategies within the section
- Approval of immediate procurement requirements posing business/ safety challenges as per LOAM
- Types of decisions referred to higher authority or decisions which are controlled by policy
- Approval of Equipment exceeding LOAM
- Approval of waiver in Safety Management system (OPERA)
- Approval of new stock items through Inventory Management system (IHS)
- Budget, Special projects & IP approval
- The review of the work expected from this position
