  1. Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators

 

Description

Performance Indicators

  1. Develop and implement PSM objectives for Instrument section.
  • Carry out Analysis of previous years incidents
  • Stewardship of Gap Analysis and its recommendations
  1. Implement OHIH policies & protocols contained in the EPCL – OHIH procedures.
  • Prepare and Conduct Dupont Audit pertaining to Instrument section
  • Timely completion of Investigation reports pertaining to environmental concerns
  1. Ensure I&E department KPI score target >90%.
  • Compliance to Investigation reports completion
  • Compliance to completion of Action items or Extension where required
  • Monthly review of Process & Personal Safety LIs
  1. Act as per the role statement of Secretary of Sub-HSE(I&E) and B-level.
  • Review SUBHSE, schedule and Coordinate with SUBHSE Members
  • Carry out top level Changes to MOC when required
  1. Ensures safety rules compliance by carrying out Management Safety Audits.
  • Compliance of Monthly MSA program / Audit Interval
  1. Facilitate internal and external audits with PSRM, PSM, ISO-14001/9000, EMS, IMS and work on the recommendation pertaining to his own unit / area.
  • Carry out preparations for the Audit
  • Complete Audit recommendations
  1. Ensure Safety Critical system PM are conducted as per schedule and waiver system followed for any incompliance.
  • Stewardship of Monthly PMs and timely closure
  • Seek waivers when required
  1. Ensure reliable plant operation and development of reliability enhancement program for Instrument equipment and facilities.
  • Stewardship of Vulnerabilities at site through Vulnerability Matrix
  • Propose upgradation of Unreliable equipment and take them to Investment planning cycle
  • Ensure adequate manpower is deployed to carry out job for reliability improvement
  • Stewardship of Area Surveillance plan
  1. Ensures timely execution of PM and turnaround activities with respect to time, budget and manning.
  • Compliance of Monthly PMs
  • Develop strategy to minimize major cost & time eater
  1. Develop and implement Team building program through extracurricular activities.
  • Quarterly time out session with Team upon GM approval
  1. Develop and execute GTEs and T/Apprentices training plans, asses their performance and give inputs to training department on regular interval.
  • Periodic review as per defined schedules of assignments, guidance and assessment
  • Feedback to Training as per schedule
  • Monthly review being DTC Chairman of Department  
  1. Design yearly expense and investment plan budget for Instrument Section.
  • Develop and present Yearly budget & IP cycle during Corporate planning cycle with internal review from team and GM
  • Monthly review of Investment plan progress
  1. Manage activities to remain under budget and initiates necessary approvals for unbudgeted items during the year.
  • Cost flash to management on items exceeding 500KRs
  • Prioritize replacement of equipment when budget is exceeding outlook
  1. Ensure compliance of monthly risk management and safety audits.
  • Stewardship of RMA and Audit on monthly basis
  1. Ensures compliance of Document and Data control in section.
  • Incorporate a system of Document control and conduct audit
  • Steam line central location of data
  • Encourage development of Quality Control Documentation.
  • Develop culture of Safety Checklists developments
  1. Assist in development, review, approval, and updates of maintenance procedures.
  • Steward SOP/Procedure are timely reviewed on yearly basis
  • Expired procedures to be updated
  • Missing procedures to be developed and made part of system

 

  1. Evaluate Engineers/Supervisors SAP based log weekly and ensure closure of WO/Notification by month end.
  • Steward CM/PM notification to Opera through out the month to ensure timely closure by month end
