Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for architecting all solutions that are undertaken by ICT. Will be responsible for ensuring that the solution meets the company's business needs. A few of the main duties of solutions architect are designing processes, documenting essential IT procedures, tracking project progress, and maintaining a security focus. Role also must collaborate with other teams to design the correct systems.

  • SA outcomes, including cost savings and cost avoidance due to process efficiency, technology standardization, retirement, and consolidation
  • The percentage of reduction of repetitive data entry
  • The percentage of increase in sharing of data via Web services/APIs
  • Develop and execute improvement plan

Project Performance
  • Percentage of architectural reusable components to reduce development efforts
  • Component Reusability Index (introduced vs deployed)

  • The percentage of projects architecturally aligned

  • The number of projects using SA guidance
  • The percentage of reduction in application development time
  • Develop technology roadmap for IT
  • Align IT expenditure to optimize value for the business
  • Identifying the viability of the current architecture, by evaluating systems engineering for discrepancies and vulnerabilities

  • Annual savings from digitization and enhanced process efficiency
  • Percentage of technology assets in use after depreciation schedule
  • The percentage of cost reduction associated with adopting enterprise-wide standards

  • Total cost savings to investment as result of SA
  • Total cost avoidance to investment as result of SA
  • Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
  • Develop IT Roadmap in alignment with Business Strategy and market trends
  • Help business achieve market leadership by utilizing IT technologies
  • Work closely with PMs in planning projects
