Machinery Supervisor
- Job Purpose
Machinery Supervisor is responsible to Lead & carry out machinery maintenance jobs safely, ensuring quality of work and within specified budget. He also contributes in improving service factor of plant and reducing down times by ensuring reliability of the machines at the plant.
Machinery Supervisor – is also responsible for safe and reliable operation of all machinery facilities and equipment at site as per assigned area/unit. His role covers execution of preventive and predictive maintenance plans, job planning and execution, timely incident reporting and submission of detail investigation reports, ensuring minimum downtime on plant equipment’s, planning for shutdown and forecasting annual budgets. He works in coordination with the UMs / SH / SICs to ensure smooth functioning of the manufacturing site and to achieve corporate as well as departmental objectives.
Other Responsibilities are;
•To keep track of inspection and safety recommendations and their in-time closure.
•Track of Equipment Health and work continuously on MTBF improvement
•To keep track of Rotary equipment health at site
•Inspection of area related Warehouse stock items on arrival
•Read previous day Operations log books and check any abnormality notified in it.
•Read and signing off machinery log book.
•To Discuss and assign the jobs to machinery technician based on preventive plan / condition monitoring / actual plant condition.
•To supervise machinery jobs in field and make machinery maintenance reports.
•Update the previous day machinery maintenance history on their respective files.
•To check maintenance related management safety audit point and rectify them.
•Develop MIV, MRW, PR, SR and job orders as per requirement.
•Implement preventive maintenance program
•To be ready for Callout on immediate basis

Experience requirements:
DAE or B-Tech in Mechanical, with 12+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemicals, or fertilizer plant
