Fertilizer Trader
Job Purpose
Strong understanding of the Pakistan fertilizer market, including supply–demand dynamics, seasonal consumption patterns, pricing trends, and regional demand variations.
· In-depth knowledge of key market participants and stakeholders, including producers, importers, distributors, dealers, government bodies, and institutional buyers.
· Detailed understanding of commodity and specialty fertilizers such as MOP, SOP, MAP, Urea Phosphate, and other value-added products, including specifications, nutrient composition, agronomic usage, and target crops.
· Solid awareness of global and regional supply chains for fertilizers, including major producing countries, exporters, and international trade flows.
· Strong capability in data analysis and interpretation of import and trade data to identify trends, evaluate market positioning, and develop actionable commercial insights.
· Ability to convert raw import, arrival, origin, and pricing data into strategic inputs for sourcing, pricing, and trading decisions.
· Proven strength in building and maintaining long-term business relationships with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders.
· Relationship-driven mindset with the ability to establish trust, continuity, and repeat business in competitive fertilizer markets.
