Job Purpose

The Deputy Manager - Risk and Controls will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of risk management policies and procedures, ensuring standardization of the ERM framework, and maintaining and safeguarding the groupwide Internal Control Framework in Engro Corporation. The Manager will also manage a consolidated group wide risk register, provide guidance and support to resources of R&C working in subsidiaries across multiple countries, and work together with resources of R&C in subsidiaries to obtain a companywide overview of risks and internal control.

Work with the Manager to develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures that align with Engro Corporation's business strategy and objectives, comply with regulatory requirements in Pakistan, and meet the company's internal policies and standards.

Ensure that the ERM framework is standardized across all subsidiaries and business units of Engro Corporation. Develop and implement a common risk management methodology and tools to ensure consistency in risk management standards.

Safeguard the Internal Control Framework to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Pakistan and protect Engro Corporation's assets. Regularly review and update the internal control framework, and ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risks.

Provide oversight of risk assessments on operational and IT processes, and ensure that risk mitigation plans are in place and effective. Collaborate with business units and subsidiaries to identify and assess risks, and develop risk mitigation plans to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks.

Professional Experience

Overall  years of 7 – 9 experience, minimum 2  years in Assurance / Risk and Governance with experience of Accounting, Reporting, Compliance, Risk management (ERM / BCP).
