Deputy Manager Taxation
Job Purpose
To ensure handling and management of taxation related issues of the Company
Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 1/4

i. Accurately preparing Income Tax returns within the due date. Sharing the same with tax consultants. Resolving their queries in relation to the return. |
i. Timely filing of Income Tax Returns |

ii. Review of Sales Tax Return filing and withholding tax statements |
ii. Timely and accurate filing of the said Returns |
|
iii. Identify various risks faced by the Company in relation to compliance with tax laws and mitigate the said risks with appropriate solutions |
iii. Identification of improvements in system |

iv. Liaise with the tax consultants and furnish them with requested information |
iv. Smooth functioning between the tax consultants and the Company. Ensure tax consultants are aware of the full picture and the instance of the Company |

v. Remain cognizant of the everchanging requirements of tax laws and regulations. Determine the impact of the same on the Company and development of a tax-saving strategy and optimizing respective procedures and adapting to the identified options |

vi. Advising the payables team in relation to withholding and sales tax requirements on day to day payments made |
vi. Timely and accurate responses to the payables team. |

vii. Preparation of income current and deferred tax working as per the requirement of IAS 12 and liase with the external auditors in this respect. |
vii. Review and approval of tax working by external auditors |

viii. Ensure coordination with the legal counsel of ECorp and keep tabs on the legal proceedings of the Company |
viii. Smooth closure of assessment and audit proceedings with the tax department. |

ix. Preparation and review of information sought by various tax authorities. Sharing the same with tax consultants in the appropriate format on a timely manner. |

x. Coordinate with internal and external audit teams for compliance related audits |

xi. Ensure accurate reporting to ECorp. Represent Company in various forums created for tax and legal synergies within the group |

xii. Preparation of regular reports for the management and ensuring the documentation of all taxations |
vii. Preparation of BAC packs on timely manner |
