Officer -Design & drafting

This is a contractual position

Location: Thar Site 

Requirements: Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecure with 7 to 8 years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCad; working knowledge of other design tools (e.g., Civil 3d, Revit) is an advantage. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, symbols and construction detailing

Responsibilities:

To responsible for preparing and developing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and designs for civil engineering and construction projects. To collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and designs.

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define design requirements.

• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering and industry standards.

• Update and revise designs based on project changes and new specifications.

• Manage and organize design documents, drawings, and site master layouts.

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and scopes of work.

• Support construction teams by issuing drawings/SMLs and ensuring proper site implementation.

• Assist with as-built drawings and final project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or associate degree in CAD drafting, civil engineering, or architecture. Minimum 5 years experience as a CAD Draftsman. 

Knowledge of construction standards and materials. 

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.). Strong understanding of 2D/3D drawing and layout creation. Ability to interpret technical instructions, blueprints, and design specifications. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
