- Develop and maintain risk management policies aligned with Engro Fertilizers’ strategy, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
- Support development of the enterprise risk appetite and tolerance framework in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Standardize the ERM framework, tools, and methodologies across Engro Fertilizers’ businesses and ensure adherence to risk management standards.
- Maintain and strengthen the internal control framework to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and regularly evaluate control effectiveness.
- Optimize internal control policies by considering diverse business environments and ensure clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders.
- Oversee operational and IT risk assessments, ensure development of robust mitigation plans, and continuously monitor risk updates.
- Manage the Engro Fertilizers risk register, track mitigation progress, and report key risks to senior management and the Board.
- Build capabilities of R&C teams across Engro Fertilizers through training, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing to promote best-practice standardization.
- Lead the sustainability portfolio for Engro Fertilizers by driving ESG initiatives, coordinating sustainability reporting, and integrating sustainability considerations into risk and control processes.
