Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure full compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM), Environmental Management System (EMS), Occupational Health Industrial Hygiene (OHIH) and other regulatory standards, while leading departmental HSE initiatives.
- Conduct and supervise safety incident investigations, ensuring timely completion and high‑quality root cause analysis.
- Develop, implement, and track action plans for safety audits, PHAs, PSM recommendations, and insurance observations.
- Lead turnaround planning and coordinate safe, smooth, and on‑schedule shutdowns and startups of all units.
- Issue the Daily Production Report (DPR) and address all production reporting concerns.
- Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs, including service factor and capacity factor, aligned with corporate targets.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop short‑term and long‑term production and maintenance plans for optimal plant integrity.
- Troubleshoot plant operating issues through effective interdepartmental coordination.
- Lead training and development initiatives, including TNA‑based training plans, TRS monitoring, and conducting Time‑Out Sessions for departmental staff.
- Oversee performance evaluations, skill certifications, and career development processes for MPTs/NMPTs across production units.
- Chair or participate in skill certification committees for Ammonia, Urea and Utilities plants.
- Assist with the development of the annual departmental budget, monitor expenditures, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Provide operational support to ensure the successful execution of expansion and continuous improvement (CI) projects.
- Monitor plant energy efficiency, recommend optimization measures, and support SOPs implementation.
Education : B.Sc (Chemical Engineering)
Experience : 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
