Job Title: Rigging Supervisor / Engineer

 

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage motor pool activities, ensuring all lifting, rigging, and equipment maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site safety protocols and maintenance requirements.

Education & Experience :

Intermediate / Graduate with 10+ years of relevant industry experience

  6. Timely completion and closure of all Action items, PMs and investigations

 

 

 

 

 

Act as the focal point for all routine/non-routine motorpool jobs

  1. Oversee lifting operations and ensure safety of the team and equipment
  2. Ensure strict compliance with rigging plans, site SOPs, and safety protocols.
  3. Develop rigging plans for complex and large-scale lifting activities.
  4. Support operational areas in developing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for critical rigging tasks.
  5. Ensure all lifting equipment which includes crane, forklifters, Overhead hoists etc, tools, and accessories are maintained in safe, healthy condition and inspected per the inspection schedule.
  6. Lead the planning and smooth execution of turnaround activities.
  7. Manage contractor activities and ensure contractor safety compliance.

 

Financial Management and budget handling

Expense according to budgeted profile and raise level in case of deviation.

Job Quality continuous improvement

Usage of QA/QC system for section

Random Audits to check JCC or RMA

Operational Discipline

PM Plan timely execution

Revision of PM plan on the registered assets

New PM plan development

PSM

Carry out mandatory certification of PSM and Work permit within 6 months after joining.

Spares Management

Support and coordinate with WH, supply chain team for timely clearing queries related to ordering spares.

Introduction of new spares through IHS (stock / DC)

Warehouse Inspection of received spares

Training & Development of Team

  1. Prepare Annual Training Plans
  2. Ensure compliance to Training Plans.
  3. Coaching & Guidance of sub-ordinates

Cost Saving projects to support Maintenance FC

Develop and implement strategies to cut/minimize motor pool related cost.

Contractor Manpower Handling

Team formation

Resource pooling and deployment

Special projects on requirements

MOC’s preparation with field execution

Business Ethics

 

 

Follow all guidelines issued from Ethics and compliance department and speak out if any misconduct observed.

PADP of subordinates

 

 

  1. Timely completion of appraisals of subordinates
  2. Provide feedback to employees on their performance.
  3. Help subordinates improve their performance

OHIH Compliance

  1. To perform responsibilities and conduct activities in healthy and hygienically sound manner.
  2. Implement and enforce site safety protocols, including PSM (Process Safety Management), OHIH (Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene), and ESM (Environmental Safety Management).
