Job Title: Manager Raw Material
- Job Purpose
To lead the strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply management of critical raw materials, including Ethylene, VCM, and other feedstocks, ensuring uninterrupted supply to support
production and business objectives.
Develop and execute raw material procurement strategies aligned with corporate and operational goals while optimizing cost, supply reliability, working capital, and risk exposure.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international analysists, logistics partners, terminal operators, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders to ensure supply security and commercial competitiveness.
Lead market intelligence efforts by monitoring global commodity markets, pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics, geopolitical developments, and industry developments to support decision-making and procurement strategy.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Treasury, Logistics, Shared Services, and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient planning, forecasting, contract execution, and inventory management.

Develop and implement raw material sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business requirements and annual operating plans. |
|
Lead annual procurement planning and forecasting activities in coordination with Manufacturing, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams. |
|
Manage relationships and develop strategic partnerships with key global and regional stakeholders. |
|
Monitor international market trends, pricing benchmarks, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks. |
|
Lead catalyst/ chemical procurement-related commercial negotiations, including pricing formulas, premiums, volume commitments, and payment terms. |
|
Oversee import operations, logistics coordination, shipment tracking, customs clearance, terminal handling, and inventory management activities. |
|
Ensure effective management of Letters of Credit (LCs), banking transactions, supplier payments, and related commercial documentation. |
|
Drive optimization initiatives to reduce procurement costs, demurrage expenses, and supply chain inefficiencies. |
|
Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to raw material supply, pricing volatility, and supplier performance. |
|
Ensure compliance with procurement governance, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies. |
|
Lead cross-functional projects, process improvement initiatives, and digitalization efforts within the raw material function. |
|
Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. |
|
Promote EHS, sustainability, and operational excellence initiatives within the department. |

4. Experience s Education
|
Professional Experience 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Raw Material Management.
Experience in petrochemical, chemical, manufacturing, or process industries will be preferred. |
Education s Technical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline. |
