Job purpose of the position

Plan, manage and implement a fully integrated marketing plan encompassing corporate branding and Public Relations (PR) programs for Sindh Engro Coal Mininig Company by partnering with other specialist teams within the Strategy, Finance & Planning, and Marketing department to meet business objectives and goals through the delivery of innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions

Brief outline of key responsibilities

  • Outlines mechanism and methodologies for interactions with media
  • Contributes in development of internal & external communication protocols, shares document across Group and guides/advices leadership on press related issues
  • Creates and maintains contacts/visibility of SECMC's leadership with media owners and journalists with national footprint including English and Urdu outlets
  • Develops specific crisis communications plan in collaboration with the corporate crisis response teams (at subsidiaries), ensuring that the local plans and staff training are kept up to date.
  • Lead communication literature such as newsletters and corporate brochures along with development of ATL collateral including advertisements etc.
  • Manages and optimizes all digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels; Research new online media opportunities aligned with business needs inclusive of mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
  • Analyzes digital marketing requirements and coordinates with internal stakeholders and digital agencies for creation of advertisement content
  • Publicizes awards/achievements of businesses, thought leadership stance on key industry issues
  • Engages with agencies to manage content mapping to maintain a successful online presence
    • Finalizes sponsorship programs/events to reinvigorate Engro’s brand
    • Ensure presence at events organized by external partners whilst highlighting visibility for Company’s leadership
    • Collaborates with various external organizations to align with key advocacy issues.
    • Leads by example, motivates and maintains a competent and high performing team, capable to meet current and future needs
    Manages employee engagement with support of HR; Coordinates with HR for talent management; Handles administrative issues such as conflict management, grievances handling and disciplinary issues in-coordination with HR
