Inspection Engineer / Supervisor
Job Purpose
To help organization achieve its goals by ascertaining the mechanical integrity and reliability of stationary assets for safe and continuous plant operation.
Experience & Education (& Technical Qualifications if applicable)Professional Experience17-20 years of experience in inspection/asset integrity/corrosion in chemical/ petrochemical/fertilizer/oil and gas industry. |
Education & Technical Qualifications*Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering Conversant with inspection standards and codes such as API, ASME, NACE, NBIC. |

Develop detailed inspection plans of all stationary assets as per guidelines of codes and recommended practices. Get them reviewed through relevant interfaces and approval through Sub-HSE(M) forum. |

Plan monthly jobs and review past inspections and any concerns. |

Perform critical equipment (SCDs) internal visual inspection in turnarounds. |

Decision Making Authority and Controls:

Authorized to provide welding / repair procedures to Maintenance Department.
Authorized for Inspector job assignment, leave approval, and other administrative issues.
To consult Inspection Engineer / Manager if there has to be any deviation from standard procedures to perform any job.
