Position Title: Deputy Manager – Culture and Employee Experience
Role Purpose
Drive a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture at Engro Fertilizers by leading initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, foster belonging, and promote continuous improvement. The role acts as a culture catalyst, turning insights into meaningful actions through collaboration with HR Business Partners and leadership to build a workplace where people thrive, perform, and grow.
Key Responsibilities :
Culture & Engagement Strategy
- Champion Engro’s values by designing and executing initiatives that embed desired cultural behaviors across teams and sites.
- Develop and implement a structured Employee Engagement Roadmap focused on improving satisfaction, commitment, and retention.
- Collaborate closely with HRBPs and business leaders to co-create culture and engagement interventions based on data-driven insights.
- Work with CGM champions and ensure that CGM is embedded in the DNA of the organization.
Insights & Analytics
- Analyse employee engagement survey results to identify key strengths, gaps, and improvement areas.
- Run targeted pulse surveys for select populations to track engagement, sentiment, and impact of interventions.
- Use people analytics to identify trends and provide leadership with actionable insights on engagement and retention.
- Maintain and report on engagement dashboards and KPIs to monitor progress against cultural goals.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I)
- Partner with HRBPs and function heads to execute Engro’s DE&I strategy, embedding inclusion principles across HR and business processes.
- Design and implement awareness campaigns, learning interventions, and storytelling initiatives to promote inclusive behaviours and equitable practices.
- Track progress against DE&I objectives and provide insights to leadership on representation, accessibility, and inclusion outcomes.
AI in HR Collaboration
- Work with HRBPs to identify opportunities for embedding Artificial Intelligence (AI) in HR processes to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and employee experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to pilot and implement AI-based HR solutions, ensuring alignment with HR’s digital transformation agenda.
- Monitor AI trends in HR and recommend best-fit applications for Engro Fertilizers’ context.
Communication & Experience Design
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications to design internal campaigns that celebrate people, reinforce Engro’s culture, and amplify success stories.
- Create compelling communication and content that strengthens connection, pride, and purpose across the organization.
- Support recognition programs, onboarding experiences, and other initiatives that sustain engagement throughout the employee lifecycle.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with HRBPs to develop localized engagement and culture action plans aligned with organizational priorities.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices across functions to ensure consistency and impact in culture-building efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–8 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated expertise in employee engagement, DE&I, or culture transformation.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in data interpretation and insights generation for people strategy.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with experience in internal communication and engagement storytelling.
- Understanding of AI applications in HR or exposure to digital transformation initiatives will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across levels and business units.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
