Job Title: Deputy Manager Finance and Planning
Job Purpose
- Act as an interface between finance and business e.g. manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial.
- Leverage advanced financial analysis and market research skills to identify optimization opportunities (pricing, cost, volume, channel, etc.) and support business value drivers.
- Evaluate reasons for variance in plan and actual numbers.
- Apply strong analytical and research-driven approaches to support business growth, and long-term planning.

- Provide financial analysis and deliver insights that connect financial performance with business operations (manufacturing, logistics, and commercial) to support decision-making.

- Develop partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all GMs and their teams in order to help drive the business plan and strategy.
|
- Enable monthly stewarding of budgets and enable strong internal controls.
|
- Assist in creating monthly, annual, and long-term forecasts by integrating market/industry research, activity drivers, and business targets.
|
- Lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., reporting automation, dashboarding, data visualization) to enable timely and efficient decision-making.
|
- To liaison with business team for CP requirements.
|
- Evaluate and challenge budgets, conduct project appraisals, and compute IRR for strategic initiatives.
|
- Apply market/industry research and financial modelling techniques to support business growth initiatives.

Professional Experience
- Overall 6 to 8 years of experience.
- Prior experience in equity research, sell-side/buy-side analysis, or brokerage house research teams is highly desirable.

Education & Technical Qualifications
- Must have: BBA or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Finance / Banking / Economics) OR Chartered Accountants
- Preferable: MBA (Finance) and/or CFA Charter holder (or CFA Level II/III cleared).
