Job Title: Boiler Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Boiler Engineer will maintain industrial boilers chemistry, auxiliary equipment in a prompt, efficient, and safe manner. Responsible for company Safety, Environment, OHIH, Quality Policy and PSM 22 Elements. Also responsible for safe, hygienic, economical, and trouble-free Boiler Operation and safe emergency handling at Boilers during the shifts by providing effective leadership and coordination

Overall Responsibilities:

Smooth operation of LP/HP Boilers including WHB/HRSGs, Package boilers keeping focus on the design limits of the equipment and operation parameters.Boiler chemistry analysis and informing his Shift In charge for any deviation in routine / non-routine operational changes and changes required to maintain control limits.Manage & supervise overall boilers operation and boiler chemistry and take corrective action against any deviation,Analyse problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of Boilers and its equipment.Develop operation, safety, and maintenance procedures of Boiler as per company safety policy also responsible for equipment operations and inspection of maintenance activities.Make use of his professional knowledge and competence to provide technical advice for the improvement of Boiler efficiencies.Responsible for the compliance of Company Safety, Environment, and Industrial hygienic policyResponsible for trend & data collection for Investigation & reporting on any accident of Boiler

Experience requirements:

Key Knowledge Areas

Boiler operation, maintenance and Legal Compliance as defined in Boiler Act.Boiler water treatment with chemistry analysis & Treatment chemicals management.

Education & Technical Qualifications1st Class Boiler Engineer Competency Certificate
