Assistant Warehouse Officer II

Job Purpose  

• Should be able to lead the inventory optimization for materials warehouse
• Manage, control, and optimize stores and spares inventory for Instrument and Electrical commodities.
• Ensure spares availability within the agreed service factor by applying standard inventory management techniques.
• Should be able to perform material requirement planning, PR creation, technical reviews from the end users and tracking deliveries
• Getting the material inspection from end users and introduction in the system
• Processing of Stock Transfer Order
• Prepare and ensure timely submission of monthly stock reports.
• Periodically review in-stock stores and spares data for enrichment.
• Will have the additional role of cost controller for warehouse cost centre.
• Prepare inventory overview presentations for management reviews.
• Conduct regular reviews of inventory to identify potential duplicates and obsolete items.
• Manage IHS workflows in collaboration with other team members.
• Conduct minimum–safety stock (min-SS) review exercises with commodity end users.
• Serve as Vice Safety Captain
• Oversee strategic projects related to material warehouse inventory optimization.
• Manage the integration of spares pictorials into SAP.
• Demonstrate fluency in the use of the SAP MM module.
• Provide inventory reflections to management for improved visibility on target achievements.
• Should be able to run the issuance counter for spares, chemicals and WPP bags in the absence of relevant commodity champions.
• Benchmarking Warehouse processes with other industries.
