Job Title: Assistant Lab Engineer
Job Purpose:
The incumbent must be able to operate and calibrate laboratory equipment and perform all types of routine, non-routine sampling & laboratory analysis.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Collect and performs laboratory analyses of plant streams
- Operates, and keep laboratory equipment / working area in the best working condition.
- Report all results to Plant Control Room timely.
- Inform abnormal results immediately to Shift lead man.
- Responsible for safe operation and housekeeping of laboratory premises during shift duty.
- Learn operation of new equipment and analytical techniques.
- Inform the incoming Assistant Engineer of all activities verbally and writing (logbook)
- Operate OneSAP.
- ISO-17025 & IMS awareness
- Follow 14001 for better protection of environment and waste management.
- Adhere QMS for continual improvement to enhance customer’s certification and the satisfaction of other interested parties. Managing document and data control.
- Able to work in day/night shifts.
Experience requirements:
M.Sc Chemistry preferably Analytical Chemistry with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in Laboratory of Fertilizers and, Petrochemicals.
