Job Purpose

We are seeking a conscientious Treasury Operations Officer for managing and overseeing the various aspects of trade operations pertain to Treasury Ops. The primary role is to facilitate the smooth execution of trade transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing documentation, and supporting the organization's trade operations. This can include export/import activities, trade finance, banking relationship and more.

Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 1/4

  • Opening & retirement of Import Letter of Credit (LC)
  • Submission of export documents as per Letter of Credit (LC) or Cash Against Documents (CAD).
  • Resolve document discrepancies and any compliance issues to ensure CLEAN submission
  • Review and interpret LC clauses to ensure correct document submission.
  • Processing of Advance payment to supplier under Trust Receipt (TR) facility
  • Coordination with Bank and internal team for adding the confirmation in Export LC
  • Maintain a good Relationship with Banks for timely execution of transactions
  • Provide full support to Treasury Finance on processing of pre-acceptance & post acceptance discounting
  • Follow up with relevant Trade Partner for the pending payment/acceptance under Export LC
  • Prepare & maintain MIS for daily routine task i.e LC opening, funds received, documents submission, discounting etc
  • Liaise with internal teams to facilitate seamless trade operations.

Professional Experience

Experience: 2–3 years in treasury operations, import/export operations, or LC handling.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC), UCP 600, and trade finance instruments.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations and shipping documentation.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems related to trade operations.
