    1. HSE
  • Implementation of EFERT safe work practices to ensure no unsafe acts take place for own or contract manpower.
  • Incident reports to be filed within prescribed time limit.
  • Steward Progress of Pending Incident Report Recommendations on an on-going basis.
  • Conversant with applicable portions of PSM & OHIH and be responsible for compliance in the assigned area.
  • Define & Communicate Safety aspects to area Technicians & Contractors before commencement of job.
  • All current and new installations compliant to area classification.
  • All safety practices like Tag out/ Lockout procedure to be strictly followed.
  • Conduct MSA's (Management Safety Audits).
  • Be an Environment Management System auditor if required with requisite training
  • Be conversant with all OHIH elements, applicable OHIH procedures as applicable for execution of work

 

    1. RESOURCE AND SELF DEVELOPMENT
  • On-the-job training to assigned GTE's, Technicians and Trade Apprentices.
  • Meaningful and timely review of NMPT appraisals, result, skill development program for each assigned technician.
  • Steward on-the-job training program on a quarterly basis.
  • Technical knowledge enhancement through self study and on-the-job training.
  • Operational & maintenance knowledge of installed systems in the assigned area.
  • Familiar with BP, DP's, Safety Manual, I&E / Mechanical Procedures Manual, Critical Securities By-Passing Procedures, Emergency Response Manual.
  • Conversant in applicable standards e-g ISA / NFPA etc.
  • Familiar with purchasing, warehouse, project engineering manuals and contract guide.

 

    1. TRAINING
  • Prepare and deliver training classes to MPT & NMPT in areas identified by training section.
  • Update assigned JQP papers; provide opportunity to area Technicians in preparing for JQP's through re-assignment.
  • Conduct Job Cycle Check as assigned.    
  • Time outs as per Training Plan for Self-Development

 

    1. MAINTENANCE
  • Area Maintenance Program should contribute to provide continuous and smooth operation of the plant. Facility should be managed through a Planned and a Preventive Maintenance based system. PM program should be complemented by surveillance program and periodic audits. All area maintenance activities should be documented in CMMS.
  • Defined PM program for the area be adhered to and should be planned on a monthly window. All PM jobs should be scheduled with specific technicians assigned to it.
  • Critical securities reliability program be executed as per plan, any deviations or abnormality be reported and rectified.
  • Material and time required to do the job should be recorded against each work order to ascertain man and material cost.
  • Job plan and work instructions to be discussed with area technician before work is commenced
  • Maintain updated list of S/D jobs on an on-going basis.
  • Field instrument on-going audit to be completed as per defined schedule.
  • Control system on-line checks to be carried out as per defined schedule.
  • Maintain & review work instructions on a yearly cycle
  • Area Preventive Maintenance Program Compliance / work order status report to be issued at end of each month.
  • Recurring problem report to be issued quarterly with root cause analysis / remedy.
  • Area PREP forum team member
  • Identify additional spares requirement and introduce spares
  • Reliability Incident Reporting and Analysis of area Reliability Issues
  • Scheduling of routine OT cybersecurity tasks as per policies, vulnerability scans, and preventative maintenance jobs that do not impact plant operations.
  • Authorization of removable media usage (e.g., USB drives) within the OT environment strictly following established security protocols and after conducting necessary scans.
  • Initial triage and analysis of security alerts and events to determine priority and required response level.

 

    1. MATERIAL INSPECTION
  • Material inspection shall be carried as per requirement.

 

    1. OVER TIME
  • Review overtime record of individual technicians assigned to the area and steward against approved limits with supervisor.

 

    1. M&R COST
  • Actual Vs plan to be monitored on a monthly basis as budget custodian through Budget Coordinator
  • Detailed EOR's to be developed and reported on a quarterly basis as budget custodian through Budget Coordinator

 

    1. PROJECT
  • System design should facilitate/ include provision for on-line maintenance, ease of operation and standardization.
  • Project cost should be maintained on an on-going basis capturing material and contract cost.
  • Project Management tools utilized in monitoring and progress reporting.
  • Plant housekeeping standards to be maintained during and after execution of the projects.
  • Safety audit to be carried out prior to commissioning of a new project.
  • Project close out should include update to single line diagrams, introduction of spares in the warehouse, new tag/ equipment added in CMMS, training provided to MPT and NPMT's on the new system.

 

    1. QUALITY MANAGEMENT
  • Be conversant with Manufacturing Division quality policy QSM & QSP's.
  • Applicable quality procedures be applied in execution of work.
  • Control document as required by QSP's be maintained for the assigned area.
  • Job content and work methodology analysis to identify cost and time wastage on an on-going basis.
  • Develop and steward program to maximize resource utilization.

  • Utilize six sigma / lean tools and principles to bring about process improvement in everyday work as well as achieve cost savings targets as per Objectives assigned.
