Location: Hyderabad
Job Requirements:
Ph. D or MSc. in Soil Science/Agriculture with minimum 3-5 years of experience in soil testing laboratory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the laboratory complies with all HSE requirements through periodic inspections, internal audits, and proper maintenance of emergency and safety equipment.
- Maintain all laboratory instruments and equipment in optimal working condition by ensuring timely calibration through accredited calibration service providers, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage procurement activities, including timely purchasing of chemicals, glassware, consumables, and other laboratory commodities.
- Prepare standard solutions, working solutions, and chemical reagents as per defined SOPs and quality standards.
- Conduct chemical and physical analyses of soil, water, plant, and fertilizer samples in accordance with approved analytical methods and QA/QC protocols.
- Perform calculations of soil and water nutrient content based on raw analytical data and ensure accuracy prior to reporting.
- Review, verify, and sign final analysis reports, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and organizational quality requirements.
- Conduct training of lab personnel on equipment standardization, calibration procedures, method verification/validation, and quality testing protocols to ensure competency and consistency in laboratory operations.
- Coordinate and communicate with management, field teams, and other stakeholders regarding laboratory operations, technical issues, and support requirements.
- Prepare and submit the laboratory stewardship report, covering performance, HSE, QA/QC, equipment status, and operational improvements.
- Perform any other duties or special assignments delegated by the management.
