Job Purpose
To support business development initiatives through in-depth financial modelling, feasibility analysis, and coordination with the Financial Planning (F&P) function. The role will evaluate the commercial viability of new opportunities, including tariff structures, internal rate of return (IRR), and overall project costing. This role bridges finance and business development, offering analytical insights to drive sound strategic decisions.

- Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment decisions in business development projects
|
- Analyze new opportunities from a financial and commercial lens, including tariff evaluation, cost structures, and IRR computations.

- Partner with the Finance & Planning (F&P) team to ensure alignment of BD project financials with corporate budgets and long-term business plan
|
- Support cross-functional discussions with operations, technical, legal, and commercial teams to validate financial assumptions and develop end-to-end business cases
|
- Support strategy formulation by translating market insights, cost structures, and industry benchmarks into actionable financial projections and feasibility studies.

- Prepare project decks, and board-level presentations that clearly communicate the financial rationale and strategic fit of BD initiatives.

- Continuously track and update financial models based on changes in market conditions, regulatory updates, commodity pricing, or stakeholder input.
|
- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance financial modelling tools, templates, and decision-support frameworks used by the strategy team.
