Deputy Manager - Business Development

Location: Head Office, Karachi

Requirements: Bachelors / Masters Degree (Engineering/Business/Economics) with 5 to 7 years of Experience

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new market opportunities and energy-related projects aligned with company strategy

• Conduct market research and monitor local & international energy markets, regulatory developments, and competitor landscape

• Conceptualize innovative, technology-driven energy solutions and new business models

• Prepare pre-feasibility studies, detailed feasibility assessments, and technical/financial evaluations

• Develop and review financial models to assess commercial viability and support investment decisions

• Lead technical, financial, and legal appraisals of potential projects

• Structure, negotiate, and finalize commercial deals, including drafting and negotiating contracts

• Coordinate with internal functions (Finance, Legal, Technical) and external stakeholders (customers, regulators, consultants)

• Identify and onboard technical partners, OEMs, and service providers for project execution

• Support regulatory approvals and ensure compliance with applicable frameworks and policies

• Maintain strong industry relationships and an updated database of OEMs and technology providers

• Drive project implementation through effective coordination, risk management, and stakeholder engagement

• Demonstrate leadership, independent thinking, and innovative problem-solving to deliver business growth
