Job Summary :

To ensure the reliability and integrity of all the stationary equipment (Pressure Vessels. Exchangers, Reactors, Boilers, Valves etc.) Installed at the plant by implementing and monitoring through Preventive Maintenance plan for these equipment, based on the guidelines provided in PSM # 20 (Mechanical Integrity) and providing technical support in the fields of material, welding and non destructive testing as per guidelines provided in PSM # 18 and thus help the organization achieve its goals by a sustained, continuous and stable plant operation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and supervise all activities related to Plant (assigned area) Stationary Equipment Integrity and Reliability as per the guidelines provided by PSM # 20.
  • Plan and Execute Safety Goals and Objectives defined for inspection unit.
  • Performing Management Safety Audits (MSA).
  • Ensure PIRR, MSA, SOC, PHA, PSSR point compliance relevant to assigned area as per the guidelines provided in relevant PSMs.
  • Analysis of Injuries / Incidents / MSA observations whenever assigned by Inspection Unit Manager as per the guidelines provided in PSM # 11.
  • Participate in incident investigation teams whenever nominated to comply with the requirements of PSM # 11.
  • Participate in all trainings related to safety as per training plan to comply with PSM # 9 guidelines.
  • Participate in PSSR whenever nominated as per guidelines provided in PSM # 19
  • Participate in Projects / Modification whenever nominated by Inspection Unit Manager to comply with PSM # 18 guidelines.
  • Active participation in D-level safety forum for continuous awareness & improvements of plant safety standards.
  • Responsible that all inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in working condition.
  • Responsible for radiation emergency handling to comply with guidelines given in PSM # 22 and OHIH # 23.
  • Responsible that all resources, procedures and infrastructure are in place for radioactive source handling, storage & replenishment to comply with guidelines given in PSM # 22.
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements of PNRA for Radioactive source.
  • Continuous efforts in reducing paper wastage.

 

Education : BE Mechanical Engineering

 

Experience : 5 to 7 years
