  1. Job Purpose

 

The Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. To be successful in this role you should deliver an extensively recorded, tested, intact, and operative product within delivery time frames and budget. Ideal candidates will be analytical and have a positive demeanor.

Description

Performance Indicators

Activity and resource planning

  • Define project’s scope and feasibility.
  • Must be able to set clear milestones
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, maintenance, and other operational functions.
  • Effectively manage resources to ensure best possible productivity level
  • Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products
  • Number of projects with green / amber / red statuses
  • Deviation of finish dates from baseline values
  • Project completion & success rates

 

 

Controlling time and budget management

  • Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
  • Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Inform business about the cost involved for project
  • Request quotations based on the scope of the project in agreed timeframe
  • Deviation of project cost from project budget
  • Project success from project profit / project revenue

Project risk

  • Identify risk during execution of project and raise alerts if need be.
  • Management of unidentified and unanticipated risks.
  • Management of risks and how risks are trending over time

 

Progress, Reporting and Documentation

  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Develop necessary project documentation and get it approved from the relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate with the business and vendor for all matters relating to assigned projects.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.
  • Number of projects with correct and complete documentation
  • Quality of information provided

 

Communication and Relationship Management

  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
  • Assisting in establishing a Project Management Office to oversee multiple projects.
  • Overall stakeholder satisfaction
  • End user experience (UI/UX)

  7. Regular tracking of all identified risks until its closure.
