Role Purpose
To partner with Tower Business leadership in driving financial performance, strategic decision making and value creation. The role will lead financial planning, performance management, investment evaluation and strategic financial support to enhance business performance and shareholder value.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment of business plans with Group strategy, shareholder return expectations and capital allocation priorities.
  • Develop financial and operational targets for the business, including revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, return on capital, colocation, cost efficiency and energy performance.
  • Steward business performance against approved targets through monthly reviews, variance analysis, management dashboards and corrective action plans.
  • Identify emerging risks, opportunities and performance gaps, and support management in timely decision making.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, CFO and functional leadership team.
  • Provide financial insights to support commercial strategy, energy optimization, operational efficiency and other value creation initiatives.
  • Constructively challenge assumptions and ensure key decisions are supported by rigorous financial and strategic analysis.
  • Evaluate business proposals, capital expenditure projects, acquisitions, new products and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and evaluate investment cases, including financial returns, sensitivities, risks, funding requirements and value creation potential.
  • Support post investment reviews to assess whether approved business cases have delivered the intended outcomes.
  • Identify and propose innovative value creation opportunities, including new revenue streams, digital solutions, energy services, cost optimization and strategic partnerships.
  • Support the preparation of management, Board and Group level performance packs, ensuring clear articulation of key financial and strategic insights.
  • Coordinate with Group Finance, Strategy, Tax, Treasury and other relevant functions on matters impacting the Tower Business.

Qualification and Experience

  • Professional qualification, MBA, BS Finance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in financial planning, business partnering, investment evaluation, strategy or performance management.
  • Experience in telecom, infrastructure, energy or other asset intensive businesses will be preferred.

  • Ability to translate operational and commercial drivers into financial outcomes.
