  • Job Summary:
    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager in Central Procurement Function to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive value across the Procure To Pay (P2P) cycle. Relevant experience in use of ERP & E-Sourcing systems will be a plus (SAP S4/HANA / SAP Ariba)
  • Key Responsibilities: 
    • Deveolop and execute startegic sourcing plans for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with businesses objectives.
    • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, bidding, contract negotitaions, and suppier performance management.  
    • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements and timelines.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier quality, delivery, and compliance, ensuring continuity of supply.
    • Drive cost savings initiatives through value analysis, competitive bidding, and supplier negotiations.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends in the industry.
    • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, savings, and risks to senior management.
    • Continuously look for ways to optimize procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
    • 1-4 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain
    • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, ARIBA)
    • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing contracts and supplier relationships.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred
