Location: Karachi Head Office.

Requirements: ACCA / Masters in Accounting or Finance with 3 to 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Payable function, reporting directly to Manager Accounts
  2. Verify payments in SAP, ensuring proper document flow and reference integrity.
  3. Perform daily checks on invoice postings to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  4. Oversee processing of vendor invoices as per SOP, matching purchase orders and goods receipts in SAP MM module.
  5. Oversee processing of employee reimbursement claims, verifying supporting documents and approvals.
  6. Preparing proof sheets for Balance Sheet FSLIs (vendor advances and creditors) for monthly review of senior management and identify balances which requires adjustments.
  7. Ensure maintenance of proper repository of Standard Operating Procedures documents across all departments.
  8. Maintain risk registers and perform periodic risk assessments using GRC tools.
  9. Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, and IT risks.
  10. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  11. Follow-up on open audit observations with all relevant departments and liaise with internal audit for timely and adequate disclosure of the observations.
  12. Prepare periodic risk and compliance reports for senior management, along with maintenance of accurate records of governance and compliance activities.
  13. Liaison with the external auditors for the half year review and annual audit of the Company.
