Location: Karachi Head Office.
Requirements: ACCA / Masters in Accounting or Finance with 3 to 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Payable function, reporting directly to Manager Accounts
- Verify payments in SAP, ensuring proper document flow and reference integrity.
- Perform daily checks on invoice postings to confirm accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee processing of vendor invoices as per SOP, matching purchase orders and goods receipts in SAP MM module.
- Oversee processing of employee reimbursement claims, verifying supporting documents and approvals.
- Preparing proof sheets for Balance Sheet FSLIs (vendor advances and creditors) for monthly review of senior management and identify balances which requires adjustments.
- Ensure maintenance of proper repository of Standard Operating Procedures documents across all departments.
- Maintain risk registers and perform periodic risk assessments using GRC tools.
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, and IT risks.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Follow-up on open audit observations with all relevant departments and liaise with internal audit for timely and adequate disclosure of the observations.
- Prepare periodic risk and compliance reports for senior management, along with maintenance of accurate records of governance and compliance activities.
- Liaison with the external auditors for the half year review and annual audit of the Company.
